7th GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL Sport Contacts

Parents,

          Good Afternoon all, hope everyone is having a productive day.  Thanks to all the parents that came out to support our girls on Wednesday night.  The stands were almost full for both of the games.  I spoke to one of the parents from Pershing after the game and she told me that the word is going around that WE are the team to beat this year, that’s the reason so many of the parents from the other schools are coming out.  As parents, we should really feel excited about our girls already having the reputation as one of the best teams out there, so let’s make sure we continue to come out and support the girls at ALL the games, both at home and away.  For those that haven’t heard, before the Thanksgiving break, the 8^th grade ladies team were invited to play in a big tournament at the Reliant Center, but because it was so short of a notice and the day before Thanksgiving we had to decline, but was a real honor to be considered to play.

          The time has come to turn in the money or the remaining cards from the fundraising cards that were handed out at the beginning of the season.  Hopefully we get more money back than cards especially since they will make nice Christmas gifts (stocking stuffers) for family and friends.  The girls have been reminded to bring whatever they have left and give to Coach Gillpatrick as soon as possible.

          Our next game is away against The Rice School on Wednesday 12/7 at the same times, 5:30 & 6:30pm.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.
